Dr. Amit Tagare, an esteemed Pediatric Neurologist practicing at Aditya Rainbow Hospital Clinic in Sangli Miraj Road, Sangli, played a pivotal role in a recent program dedicated to Down Syndrome awareness and Disability Awareness Month. Organized by MSC NNF in collaboration with the Department of Pediatrics and the School of Physiotherapy at Bharati Medical College, Sangli, the program witnessed active participation from over 60-70 Physiotherapy students, faculty members, Pediatric department faculty, and residents. The event, inaugurated by Dean Dr. Sara Dhanawade and welcomed by Sachin Shetti from the School of Physiotherapy, featured enlightening lectures delivered by Dr. Amit Tagare and Dr. Amruta Bajantri from the School of Physiotherapy. The program concluded with a vote of thanks extended by HoD Pediatrics, Dr. Suhas Kumbhar, emphasizing the significance of collaborative efforts in raising awareness and understanding of Down Syndrome and disabilities in the community.
